At the beginning of 2022, G.B.M. initiated a strategic partnership with the Japanese multinational Nabtesco Corporation, specifically with its Italian branch, Nabtesco Oclap, aimed at developing the national market. Nabtesco is known for its technological innovation and ability to provide reliable, high-quality solutions across a wide range of sectors, including aerospace, naval, industrial, railway, and automotive.
With a specific mandate for the railway sector, the partnership focuses on promoting and developing the “Brake Discs” product range, both in steel and cast iron, either complete or in two halves. Thanks to the development of a new internal design for the ventilation system, designed and patented by Nabtesco, it is possible to achieve at least a 30% improvement in heat dissipation while maintaining the same performance.
