G.B.M. entered into a collaboration agreement with MAN in 2018, becoming the sole distributor in Italy for the sale of MAN spare parts, new and refurbished engines for railway applications. For MAN engine servicing, G.B.M. operates efficiently and professionally thanks to its many years of experience and the specialized training of its personnel, who are continuously trained and updated to ensure a fast and competent high-quality service on all MAN products. G.B.M. also offers a complete direct logistics service with the parent company to minimize the turnaround time for the overhaul and delivery of the aforementioned railway engines.

Regarding the overhaul process, the used engine is completely disassembled, and the components to be reconditioned are treated in dedicated cleaning tanks. The main engine parts, such as the engine block, crankshaft, cylinder head, and camshaft, are processed and rectified in specialized departments. The entire overhaul process follows the manufacturer’s standards and also incorporates the latest technical improvements introduced over time on these engines. All worn components are replaced with new ones. Finally, upon completion of the work, the engine is reassembled and tested, with a final report provided. In addition to supplying spare parts and managing overhauls, we are also able to organize specialized training courses for working on MAN engines and provide all the necessary equipment for servicing these engines.
